About the m2fx sale to PPC Broadband
Silverpeak acted as lead adviser to the vendor shareholders of m2fx on its sale to PPC Broadband, a company owned by Belden and headquartered in Syracuse, New York. m2fx is a UK-based fibre optic cable maker. The sale brings together two businesses with complementary products in the fibre and broadband connectivity market. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
m2fx
m2fx is based in Framlingham, Suffolk, in the UK. The company started with a fibre protection tube designed to stop fibres from kinking. Since then, it expanded into the fibre-to-the-premises market with its Miniflex range of pushable fibre optic cables. Its product range includes fibre cable for aerial use and low-friction duct for blown fibre installation. Following the sale, m2fx branding will transition to PPC Broadband. However, product brands such as Miniflex and Quikpush will remain in place.
About PPC Broadband and Belden

Moreover, Belden is a market leader in industrial components and connectivity, with revenues of more than $2bn. As a result, m2fx joins a well-resourced global group with strong routes to market across the telecom sector.
